Celebrating the acclamation of elite handicapped graduates

The graduation ceremony for the first group of students graduated in Applied Science from Ra’ad Educational center.


 



 


The celebration was held in Ra’ad conference hall by the participation of students, graduates, executives of applied-science University, Institute of higher education by welfare organization and….


 


According to Ra’ad public relations, the event began with the recitation of holly Quran by Ali Shokri, one of the Ra’ad trainees, and the national anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Dr. Hossein Alagheband, Raad applied science educational center CEO, said after welcoming the audience: since the establishment of the applied-science center, 100 students have continued their education as being supported. This is a great help to empower this group of fellow citizens.


 


A part of the celebration was dedicated to expository movements by a group of Tehran University traditional athletes that excited audience.


 


Afterward, Dr. Mahmoud Izadi, vice-president of Ra’ad applied-science center, also added: both applied-science University and Institute of higher education by welfare organization consider Ra’ad as a unique educational center according to its mission, if an individual is eager continue their higher education, it’s our obligation to present training courses and we expect all our friends to accompany within this path.


 


The traditional musical performance by Ra’ad trainees was another part of the program that was conducted by Yashar Khodaei and Maryam Karimi, Amir Hemmatian, Marziyeh Diyanatfar, Ashraf Rajabi, Hamidreza Rajabi, Fadia Koohi, Arezoo Barati played in the group, which encountered applause by the audience.


 


Then Mr. Ahmad Mirzakhani, chairman of the board and one of co-founders of Ra’ad charity organization, emphasized on supporting handicapped scholars and mentioned: the education of handicapped students used to be as plan by this charity, however, it is now substantiated through the support of applied-science University and Institute of higher education by welfare organization. Our handicapped citizens are now continuing their education and the graduation celebration is the outcome of the efforts taken by Ra’ad students during recent years.





Dr. Vahideh Negin, Chairman of Institute of higher education by welfare organization, expressed her happiness and said: Ra’ad applied-science center has been considered as new wave in handicapped higher education and it’s our duty to commit our best to support development of this issue.


 


Within the celebration, the message of Dr. Ramin Hajikhani, Head of Tehran applied-science University was recited; which was containing : the replacement of word ‘ graduated’ by ‘ well-educated’ indicates the attention being paid to this fact that acquisition and learning do not take any limitation and reaching higher grades is a glamorous virtue in rich Islamic Iranian culture.


 


In the final part of the celebration, the top elite handicapped students of Ra’ad applied-science center were prized and appreciated by exquisite awards. 19 of graduated students in fields of financial accounting, software and graphics that took first to third place received their awards on stage.
