Painting and Calligraphy Competition of 2013 Asia Paraart Japan is going to be held with slogan of “Art goes beyond boarders and disabilities” including artists with disabilities from Asian countries in Tokyo.
This artistic occurrence will be held by participating of 20 Asian countries to encourage persons with disabilities to achieve self-reliance and fulfillment in their life by fully exerting their potential in artworks. In this exhibition, 80 works of art of Asian people with disabilities will be chosen accordingly.
In this regard, the best 30 works of art of Iranian artists have been sent to 2013 Asia Paraart Japan Competition.
The artworks of artists were judged by Mohammad Reza Qaderi, Mahnaz Akbari, Sedighe Akbari on July 30, 2013 and they are sent to the organizer’s committee in Japan, reported by public relation of Raad Rehabilitation Goodwill Complex.
Raad Charity complex was in charge of gathering all the artworks with aid of different media and active related websites on internet. This organization has received more than 500 work of arts from 115 people with disabilities in painting and calligraphy from Larestan, Gorgan, Kerman, Yazd, Hamadan, Saveh, Ahvaz, Karaj, Mashhad, Shahriyar, Shehre Rey, Zanjan.
The number of people with disabilities from Raad Charity branches in Tehran, Kerman and Zanjan were more than the other cities.
Some participated artists have the experience of taking part in international exhibition. It should be mentioned that the artworks of intellectual and mental disabilities were included and some artworks were painted by foot and one of these participants who is trained in Raad Rehabilitation Goodwill Complex and she is a student of the Iranian great artist Mr. Aydin Aghdashloo and also a member of Art Association of Spanish people with disabilities.
In the application form of the 2013 Asia Paraart Japan, the picture of the artist and all his/her resume and type of disability are all attached and they are completed in secretariat of Raad Rehabilitation Goodwill Complex.
