Huran Group’s Great Concert Was Performed in Hozeh Honari’s Andisheh Hal

Huran group’s concert directing by Behrouz Ghahari, and singing by Amin Hedayati, Kourosh Tahami, Laleh Eskandari, Bahman Rajabi and Dr. Amir Sadeghi on 25th of Aban (16th of November), at 9 p.m. and on 26th of Aban (17th of November) at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Hozeh Honari’s Andisheh Hal.
Reportedly by Ana, the presence of three famous actors and actresses of cinema, theater and television was notable for this program.
Kourosh Tahami played Daf and Laleh Eskandari was the artistic director of the concert.
Bahman Rajabi was the Tonbak soloist and Dr. Amir Sadeghi read Shahnameh. Behrouz Ghahari played Daf, Farhang Moshtagh, Kemenche, Aram Mortezavi, Electric instrument, Payam Ronagh Australian “DJ redo”, Majid Borumand, Bass guitar, Mohsen Rahmani, Cello and Mohammad Bodaghi, as the melodic composer, played Tar. Saeid Soltani was the producer of the program.
It’s notable that, this concert was the composition of melodic music and Iranian and African percussion music. Huran music group has started its activities since 1381 (2002) under the name of ‘Harareh” Daf players directing by Behrouz Ghahari. One of its programs was the concert with “simorgh” Tambour players in Niavaran palace.
Since 1383 (2004), the playing style of the group and the making of the instruments were changed by Behrouz Ghahari and he decided to expand the group and gather different instruments of percussion.
After performing several concerts in 1385 (2006) and 1386 (2007), this group was named as one of the leading music groups.
The way of using the instruments and variety of rhythms and pieces, creating new decorations and using different concepts in the pieces are the important features of the group.
The other concerts of this group include: “Siyavash sorrow” from Abolghasem Ferdosi’s Shahnameh, with the concept of epic and tragedy with the language of music and wood and cuticle with Dr Amir Sadeghi’s speech, “Sama-e- Aseman” about the creation of universe and “Peace song” with the message of peace and friendship.
