International Day of Disabled Persons was held in the Raad organization’s

In December 3th , the international day of handicaps, some of beneficent trainees ,university of Raad Charity’s staffs and the other Raad Charite’s staffs gathered around and commemorated this day.

In this ceremony at first UN head Ban Ki-moon’s message has been read by UN’s agent in Iran, part of this message says:

“ It has been 30 years which UN announced the International day of Handicaps to expand their social participation and equality. In these last years there has been a great progress in expanding Handicap’s awareness  and corroborating their rights internationally.”

An expert from UN’s agency in Iran added:” There are a lot to achieve yet. Handicaps experience much more poverty and discrimination , and the possibility of getting medical care is half of regular people for them. At the end of his message , UN head Ban Ki-moon emphasized that the development is only permanent if it is equal , accessible for everyone and expandable through out the globe. He reminded that both international society, civil society , governments and Handicaps should put all their efforts to reach this goal.

The ceremony continued with Dr. Azma’s speech ,which is specialist in infectious diseases  prevention, he congratulated this day and said: “ what we need more to support our Handicaps is not financial support in these days but to give them hope and stimulation.”

He emphasized on personal hygiene and Handicap’s safety and added: “ Handicap’s main problem is unawareness and lack of necessary education which is prepare them in facing the social issues.

Further in the ceremony Nasrin Sanei, head of education department in Raad’s university gave a speech and explained the Raad’s Charitie’s beginning years issues and said: “ In these last years this university educate the students in both  theoretical and practical ways, and this is a great opportunity for dear Handicaps so they can have a suitable education atmosphere and expand their abilities.”
