IDPD 2012 In tehran-Iran

This year RRGC is commemorating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at the Milad Tower in Tehran (the 4th tallest telecommunications tower in the world).

Mahana Jaami, and Morteza Hosseini Abdi, two strong willed disabled athletes from the Raad branch in Mashhad (former students) are going to clime 1800 steps of Milad Tower in on the occasion of IDPD 2012 by hands to demonstrate their empowerment to the community and the world. This event will be televised by different local TV stations and several newspapers in the country. The event will be celebrated with the title of “We are proud of your efforts” by Raad NGO at the Tower starting with the message of the UN Secretary General delivered by the representative of UNIC with the presence of several celebrities, paralympic athletes, members of the welfare department and generous members of the Raad Complex.
