Raad Charity Organization congratulates obtaining Fields Medal to Professor Maryam Mirzakhani and her family upon issuing a notification.

As reported by public relations of Raad Charity organization, Professor Maryam Mirzakhani obtained the most valuable world’s mathematics prize and is the first woman who could obtain this scientific award.

It shall be noted that Fields Medal is an award which is given once in four years to youth mathematicians (younger than 40 years old) who had done a valuable work in mathematics initiated by Canadian mathematician, John Charles Fields in the congress of global Mathematics Union.

Fields medal is officially awarded since 1954. It is known as Mathematics Nobel. It is medal or coin made of gold on which a profile image of Archimedes is carved and is awarded to whom who has an important exploration in mathematics.

It shall be said that Raad charity organization was founded 30 years ago upon cooperation and consultation of several graduates in technical majors from University of Tehran and has provided valuable services to the society of people with disabilities in Iran.
