Tourism Bank’s Support for Students and Entrepreneurs of Raad Organization, Payam-e Omid and Zaynab Kobra

The ceremony for supporting employment and occupation of students and trainees of Raad, Charity Foundation of Zaynab Kobra and Payam-e Omid was held with the participation of Tourism Bank in spring.

Reporting by Raad’s public relations, the officials of Tourism Bank selected 100 people of trainees and students for paying self employment supports and gave opened them accounts.

At the beginning of this ceremony, Mr. Ahmad Mirza Khani, head of Raad organization, reminded the report of the United nations about the disabled people qhich contain 2 per cent of the world’s population, added that according to this statistics there are 2 million disabled people in Iran, while the registered statistics confirm 800000 people.

He added: during 30 years of Raad’s activities, we have tried to make Tavan Yaban out of their homes and employ them. Up to now, more than 5000 trainees have successfully passed the courses and 40 per cent of them work now.

Mirza Khani reminded the activitiea of 3 Raad centers in west, east and southwest of Tehran and 12 centers in other provinces and towns, and emphasized: today the society’s main problem is occupation. And because the trainees of raad also face with this problem, the best we can do for them is supporting their occupation. Our experience shows that the students of accounting and computer are mostly employed, so we ask Tourism Bank to support these students for entrepreneurship and occupation.

Naser Salar, CEO of Tourism Bank attended this ceremony and said: I’m one of the old friends and fans of Raad and my wife, Dr. Djavadi has devoted her life to raad for years.

He noted that he felt relieved when he was in Raad, and added: several years ago I bought a In The Name Of God tableau from raad which is the result of a girls artistic hands, and I know it the most valuable thing at my home.

He said the best gift that Tourism Bank can dedicate to Tavan Yaban, is efforts for entrepreneurship and independence.

At the end, he pointed to a sentence from Imam Ali- peace be upon him- entitled “the people’s values are as much as their kindness” announced that Tourism Bank supplies the expenditures of 10 students’ education, and emphasized: we try to do our best for Tavan Yaban’s employment in Tourism Bank and the other organizations.

Tavan Yaban performed some songs and the Tourism bank’s Board of Directors and the officials visited the Applied Sciences University of Raad and the training classes.
