Policy Making Council of Safe Community Meeting on Explaining Plans

Explaining plans meeting of Safe Community was held with the presence of trainees, coaches and a group of Raad’s staff.
Reporting by the public relations of Raad, Dr Reza Khani, head of the Health, Security and The Environment Faculty of Shahid Beheshti University pointing to the Zahra (peace be upon her)’s martyrdom, noted that her endeavors and efforts during her life were for perfectly establishment of Islam and prevention of the diversion.
He added: as we know prevention is much cheaper than treatment, so presence of the officials and municipality managers at this meeting is an effective step for improving health and security for the society.
After that, Ali Shams, head of the council’s secretarial, expressing the happiness for this meeting, said that implementing the Safe Community’s project is being followed seriously in Tehran and now Iran has won the second place among the world’s countries.
He noted, at present 10 cities and regions in Iran have joined to Safe community and 20 other cities and regions are implementing its projects.
Dr. Majid Abhari, behavioral sciences and social pathology specialist and member of a board of education at Shahid Beheshti University, admiring the trainees and students of Raad, said I don’t call the trainees of Raad, disabled, but they are empowered people whose abilities help the society.
He reminded that today the streets, parks, recreation and leisure facilities, and public transportation system are not safe and secure for the Tavan Yaban. He added: I, as a professor of university and a citizen I society, want to determine this year, a year for considering safety policies for them, because up to know there was no enough attention to them.
At the end of this ceremony, Shahram Mobser, Official of cultural part of Raad, and secretary of the disabled committee of area 2, naming some problems of the disabled, called for allocation of appropriate budget for reform projects and fixing the commuting problems in area 2 of Tehran.
