Raad Charity’s First Visual Arts Auction, after 2 days show of 76 paintings and sculptures from artists of the genre on Friday evening, along with a group of benefactor citizens and the art lovers were opened for sale.
According to Ra’ad Charity Complex, on Friday March 9th, its conference hall was host a group of art lovers who were gathered for participating into the first art auction of Ra’ad Complex. The movement that aimed to support education, rehabilitation and employment mobility impairment program, accompanied by philanthropist and art-lovers executed successfully.
As the art director for this auction was led by the manager of Etemad Gallery, Mr.Amir hossein Etemad, within a few months a number of valuable artworks from 76 countries have collected from painters and sculptures. Among those, well-known artists like Parviz Tanavoli, Ali Etehad, Hamid Pazouki, Mostafa Choobtarash, Shahla Hosseini, Bijan Seyfouri, Nastaran Safaei, Ali Golestaneh, Hossein Maher, Shahriyar Ahmadi, and etc have significant presence.
A warm welcomed by participants and unique implementation of Homayon Ershadi along with her sister Toofan Garakani left a pleasant and remarkable event that in addition to satisfying audience taste, followed by their accompanied and participation to the audience. Eventually the auction began with recitation of holy Quran words.
According to this report, after host-welcoming and reminding the auction rules, art works have brought to the stage one-by-one and having explanations for every each of them; interested participants have offered their prices.
After 4 hours of sales the most of the Ra’ad Charity visual art works, the auction have experience a remarkable record of 388 million and 300 thousand Toman (approx. 130,000 Dollars) and could win the satisfaction of artists and also organizer of the auction.
As a part of auction, educational and rehabilitation activities of Ra’ad charity has shown in frame of a clip that has highly praised by the participators.
The statue of auction has been awarded by Ms.Akbari, General Manager of Ra’ad Charity, to the Mr.Amir Hossein Etemad, Art Consultant, Assa Barati, Executive Manager, Homayon Ershadi and Toofan Garakani, Ceremony performers, and Ehsan Lajevardi, General Manager of Kariyeh Publication and art contemporary company due to the sincere services.
At the end of the ceremony, the General Manager of Ra’ad Charity, while acknowledging the contributions of artists and participators who attended and supported the empowerment of trainees and apprentices, expressed hoped that by benefiting experiences of current period , the second auction of Ra’ad Charity, next year would run with much higher quality and standards.
