Along with the Fajr decade, the sport competitions of handicapped interns, students and trainees were held in Ra’ad Charity-Educational Complex; Tehran’s Municipality of 2nd sector and Public Sports Federation also assisted to present the competition passionate for the athletes.
According to Ra’ad public relations unit, this sport competition of handicapped was held aiming to promote public sport among disabled in five competitive fields of ping pong, darts, air-darts, table football, penalty shoot and drawstring. The attendance of more than 100 trainees and interns of Ra’ad Complex was remarkable within the tournament.
In the beginning, Hasan Mahmoudabadi, Ra’ad physical exercises director, instructed the attendances by a warm up for a while and then the competition began seriously.
It was the first time that Air-Darts was chosen as a competitive field of sport in Ra’ad Handicapped Sport Competition; participants shoot the dart through air pressure into pipes aiming to the targets.
The final part of the event was dedicated to presenting awards to the winners in each field by the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Izadi, Deputy Director of Ra’ad Applied Science Center, and Hasan Mahmoudabadi, Ra’ad physical exercises director.
It’s worthwhile to mention that the efforts and supports of municipality sport experts (7th district, 2nd sector), physical exercises collegians and complex staff were remarkable and admirable.
